I’ve also been wondering if the significant decrease in volume I’ve been doing during this cycle is to blame.

Maybe I’m not too far off here, because Tanner just posted this over in another thread:

I really like the 5/3/1 program for beginner lifters, but I’ve found it more effective if you add in more reps to get extra volume.

I’ll break through eventually, because I know I’m capable: I’ve already proven that!
