Becoming a Personal Trainer?

Hi Guys,

This is my first post here, so first of all, Hi.

I have been doing sports for the last ten years and have been working alot on Conditioning, and feel that I have built up a certain amount of knowledge on the subject of Strength Training and Physical Conditioning.

Im interested in becoming a personal Trainer, now, before I get in at the deep end and start studying for certs etc. what books would you guys reccomend for building a good base of knowledge in the scientific side of things? I feel very comfortable advising people on the practical side of training without over complicating matters, but I am not the most knowledgable when it comes to the technical side of things.

Ive heard nothing but good things about guys like Zatsiorsky, Bompa and mostly Mel Siff. But what other stuff should I be looking into?

Thanks guys.

Yours,
Beev
