which brand and type (powder or pill) do y’all recommend?

Normally, I would say Surge also. However, if you’re like a lot of T-Nation readers lately, Surge is not an option right now. So, until it comes back, go online and get your hands on any brand of BCAA’s you can find. That’s what I had to do—I ran out of Surge weeks ago. As far as brands—nothing compares to Surge anyway, so just get what you can afford. A lot of us are on hard times right now with the whole LC Grow! and Surge issue—we’ve just got to suck it up until the stuff comes back.
