BCAA's and Protein Supps

I would be grateful for any available guidance re the merits of taking both BCAAs and Whey. It has been suggested to me that it is not necessary to take both when seeking to maintain as much mass as possible while becoming leaner. Also are BCAAs better taken in tablet/capsule, powder or liquid form?

Many Thanks in anticipation

Eugene

When you eat a piece of steak you are ingesting BCAAs. So, does that mean you shouldn’t use a protein shake? Hell no, if you are truly interested in maximizing your muscle gains then you not only eat meat, you use protein shakes to supplement your protein intake, and you use BCAA’s around training time to further facilitate recovery and growth from damage induced by heavy metal weight training. For me BCAA’s, Surge, and Creatine, are mandatories around training time and have helped me with gains immensely.

Edit: Sorry forgot to address the BCAA form recommended. I prefer BCAA tablets and get them here in the T-store along with my other supps.

Thanks D. Greatly Appreciated.
