BCAA's and Long Sessions

I’m starting to take BCAA’s during my training sessions (4 tablets during/ 4 after). Since I’m an olympic lifter, though, often training lasts 2.5 to 3.5 hours. Should I take all 4 at once during lifting or should I space each tablet out evenly through the session? If all at once, when should I take them?

I would recommend taking four pre workout, four in the middle of your workout, and four post workout. This works well for me.

You might be better off spacing out all 8 evenly through your training sessions depending on how long they are, then getting some whole food or a Surge type drink right afterward.

Thats what I do as well, but my sessions are no longer than an hour.

Yeah, me to. My workouts never go beyond an hour either. If I was doing those marathon type workouts I would be consuming far more BCAA’s then my usual amount. I also take BCAA’s throughout the day and couldn’t be happier with my gains since starting this.

This is just me, but I take five pre-workout, five mid and five post workout.
