Is it okay to take BCAAs with other food or does that reduce their effectiveness? I’m eating ALL the time so it’s hard to find a time when I’m not having something else as well…
I’m not sure, but I do know that sometimes I’ll scarf some down a few minutes before eating… just to try to get them through the process first, if you know what I mean.
I have this mental impression that if they hit the bloodstream first, they’ll do their magic… and the placebo effect is working just fine, thank you.
You can take them with or near a meal. It’s not going to make them ineffective doing that. You can also take them alone. It’s just keeping those amino acids flowing in the blood which is a good thang.
If you are eating all the time they will just bolster what you are eating if one is having a hard time eating enough they will help them stay anabolic and ward of being catabolic.
