BCAA 16y/o Sides?

Hey guys,

I’ve got some BCAA recently, I am 16 years old. And I am wondering if it is safe for a 16 year old to take BCAA. Would it stunt my growth or cause any side effects?

Thanks

no

Yes it is totally safe, you will have absolutely no problems from taking BCAAs.

BCAAs are just protein pills. It’s like a slightly more balanced, more concentrated protein powder that you can carry in your pocket. They’re pretty much safe for anyone.

actually, it is slightly less balanced, unless you are referring to BCAA content compared to other formulations.

BCAA are crucial to muscle protein synthesis, and can be taken alone as they are not oxidized by the liver.

As long as there is no medical condition that contraindicates, they are safe for use by older teens, though i would focus on diet first as always.
