I started training about a month ago to compete in the annual Commemorative Bataan Death March “www.bataanmarch.com” for my first time. Its a 26.2mile march through the deserts of the White Sands Missile Range with full military uniform and 35lb minimum ruck. A grueling event to say the least. Already lost some size and weight and that’s been killing me. I was, however, glad to see a response written to a reader a few years ago who was training for a similar event. The response was that the size and strength will come back as soon as the crazy cardio training is over. Hope that holds true for me.
Anyone whose done this before have any good training advice?
Any other T-men out there going to be competing this year? Drop me a line and maybe we can run together.
