Basic Supplements

first let me describe myself and my goals as best as i can…i am a 35yr old male, 5’6" and weigh about 165-170, in the past year i have lost 20lbs and am very happy with my results so far…and have been trying a variety of different supplements, some good, some bad…

but my question is this, to anyone that can help, what are the most basic supplements needed to get on a slim budget…i’m not looking to get enormous, just lose more gut and stay at around 165lbs…thanx for any and all help…

You don’t need any supplements, but HOT-ROX would be a good choice to speed progress if you’re already training hard and eating correctly to lose fat.

Surge and fish oil.

First - stop saying stuff like that.

Second- what are your goals? Do you want to continue the fat loss or build muscle? You really shouldn’t attempt to do both at once.

Here’s what you need.

A better workout program. Or at least a different one. And clean up your diet.

You’re already at the weight you want so now think of it as adding muscle (lbm) as opposed to losing fat. That makes it more fun.

Alter your cardio to a more of a HIIT type. Up your weights and lower your reps. Move your diet some. How about for the next mointh you cut 10% of the carbs you are now eating and replace them with healthy fats and protein. That’s it. My guess is you will notice the effects going in to the third week or so and definately through the 4th.
