Barney Frank for US Senate

Fuck Barney Frank. That bullshit clusterfuck of legislation cost me my mortgage career. Not that I’d want to continue selling mortgages anyway after said clusterfuck of legislation regulated the common-sense out of a deal. How does ten times the work for about a quarter of the profit (but APPEARING on a Good Faith Estimate as too much profit) sound? All the while risking criminal charges from an overzealous, newly created agency who will throw your ass in prison for disclosing to a client in four days instead of three or ordering an appraisal in six days instead of seven (god forbid if you ever dare to SPEAK to or EMAIL the appraiser to question value when the random idiot assigned by the appraisal management company cant do his job). Fucking BRILLIANT…

How that ignorant fairy got into a position to fuck things up financially for the whole spectrum - from banks to the individual trying to buy a house - is beyond me.

Fuck Barney Frank.

Pitt, do you have a reason you like the idea outside of the D nest to his name?
What is the D nest ?
HA. You know what I mean lol.

As to the video, yeah, the blame does not rest on any one party. It, in so much as the government is to blame, is a purple problem.

But anyway, what makes you so happy about Frank?
I agree it is a purple problem , Barney is a good way to pull the chain of the so called conservatives that want to blame Barney for the Housing Market’s ills
What if they were right? What if Barney was in bed with radical groups like ACORN, pushed the Community Reinvestment Act to force banks to lend to people who couldn’t afford to repay, blocked Republican efforts to reform the system in 2003 and 2005 all while insisting that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were doing fine?

“These two entities Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, are NOT FACING ANY KIND OF FINANCIAL CRISIS. The more people exaggerate these problems…the more pressure there is on these companies, the less we will see in terms of affordable housing.” - Barney Frank 2003

In 2003 The New York Time described Bush’s plan as “an acknowledgment by the Administration that oversight of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, which together have issued more than 1.5 trillion in outstanding debt, is broken”.

Blocked by the Democrats. And again in 2005. The truth is you don’t care that Frank was a key player in the housing crisis because to you the housing crisis was just one big troll.

and yet the government still wants to bail fannie and freddie out??? hello? anyone home???

"In 1991, Barney Frank received an official reprimand for reflecting “discredit upon the House.” The reprimand came as a result of his relationship with a man named Steve Gobi, a male prostitute whom Frank initially paid $80 for sex. Frank later took Gobi to live with him in his home, making him a personal aide. He paid him $20,000 in compensation (unreported to the IRS) and let him use his car. Subsequent investigation revealed that in the course of their relationship, Frank used his congressional office and stationary to fix Gobi’s 33 parking fines. Frank also used his congressional letterhead to write a reference letter to Gobi’s probation officer â?? Gobi was under court supervision as a convicted felon with a prison record â?? in which he gave false information. Most damningly, the investigation found that Gobi ran a prostitution ring from Frank’s home. In his defense, Frank asserted he knew nothing of Gobi’s illicit enterprise.

The Democrat controlled House voted 408-18 to reprimand Frank after a heated debate during which some Republicans demanded expulsion. They pointed out that the claim that Frank did not know of Gobi’s criminal activities was incredible to say the least."

"Barney Frank’s lover Herb Moses “was Fannie’s assistant director for product initiatives. Moses worked at the government-sponsored enterprise from 1991 to 1998, while Frank was on the House Banking Committee, which had jurisdiction over Fannie.” Frank wrote housing and banking laws and his boyfriend was a top executive at a firm that benefited from those laws. Frank protected Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac:

Moses, whom Frank called his “spouse,” was a high-level executive at Fannie Mae from 1991 until 1998. Dubbed a “mortgage guru” by the National Mortgage News, Moses boasted that he helped develop “many of Fannie Mae’s affordable housing and home improvement lending programs.” It was, of course, these kinds of programs that ultimately led to the collapse of the subprime mortgage market that wiped out trillions dollars from the economy and produced the economic turmoil that we now face. Even though there were those warning against the precarious nature of the enterprise, Barney Frank â?? whose committee oversees Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac â?? kept resisting reforms and besmirching those voicing concerns. […]

Frank continued to claim almost until the day of the collapse that the two mortgage giants were financially sound. If we lived in a sane world, Barney Frank would be compelled to testify about his culpability in the current crisis and what role his romantic involvement with Herb Moses â?? as well as the campaign contributions he received from Fannie and Freddie â?? played in his shilling for these two moribund institutions."

Shh…you’re not supposed to mention these things publicly. We are supposed to laud Frank for coming out of the closet, set him up as a shining example of homosexuality. But whatever you do WHATEVER YOU DO…DO NOT TALK ABOUT THE FACTS!

Facts are the first casualty of political correctness!

Used his congressional authority and position to get the criminal out of legal issues? And more than 80 bucks mind you, 20,000. (Didn’t report it to the IRS, which is also a crime) A criminal who was giving false information to a court?

Fuck that. He needs to be absolutely out of office. I don’t care if he’s gay. I care that he’s a piece of crap.

Pitt, you are far too gone for me to convince you of anything. If having ruled over the great fannie freddie failure and owning a male house ill repute is not enough for you then nothing that I can say will change your mind.

You represent a sizeable faction of the democratic party. And as we do slippery slide down hill over the next several years we have people like you to thank for it.

I got it Pitt, Palin = evil and Frank is everything that is good, clean and just.

 Got it!

Absolutely. It doesn’t matter if prostitution offends your personal sensibilities Pitt. He is an elected official, a representative of our government and of its people, and should be held to a higher standard. He had no regard for the laws of the nation he was in service to.

What??? You can’t NOT punish a legislator for breaking the law–that’s like not punishing a judge…charged with upholding ALL laws…when he breaks a law.
