Barbell Hack Squats

I just started doing hack squats. I can finally do them without falling over, so I think I might be on the right track. The first time I tried them was epic. Wow to say the least.

My question is, is this a touch and go type exercise, is it treated like a dead, with a deload at the bottom, or no touch and just rep it out. I find that I sill generally fall back when I deload on my last rep, perhaps that will go away with time.

I tried to find that link to the hack squat article that was written not too long ago, but couldn’t get at it. Perhaps my form is still off, I am not scrapping the back of my legs or anything, and its a little weird trying to get the bar around my ass.

I find that lightly touching it to the floor works well. If I dont touch the ground slightly, then I find that as I fatigue, its hard to keep an upright position. Touching the floor lightly gives me a brief second to reposition myself for good form on each rep and set.
