Barbell Bench Weights vs. Dumbbells

Alot of bbr’s seem to use dbs as they tend to cause better pec growth, this leads me to beleive that the pec is more involved in it than the bb bench, which is more delt/tris
my #'s for 3 rep max are
bb-235 x 3
db-105sx 3
I remember Kroc say that db’s can be used to strenghten the bb bench if you have problems with the bottom of the lift as ur pecs are stretched and at a dissadvantage at the bottom. So they are important to powerlifters and bbr’s
