I go down till my fist is pretty much in my arm pit, is this good or bad?
Can I use these as my main pressing exercise?
When in the bottom position is it ok if my ahoulders are shrugged and not depressed and when in the top (lockout part) my shoulders are depressed?

If I had a straight bar in my hands, the bar would touch my abs just below my sternum. You can stretch a band between the bars for a good reference. Depressing your shoulders at the top works pec minor and serratus.
Sometimes I use them as a secondary move, sometimes as a finisher. You can load them heavy, or just use BW. Right now I’m using them as a finisher, superset with arnold press.
Not sure about going really heavy or using as a main lift. They do tend to cause shoulder problems for some lifters, which is why I always stay in the >5 rep range.
