Can bands be used with emom to promote power and how might one program that in?
Bands are not needed for “power”. Execute basic lifts correctly and add weight over time. If you would like to do dynamic work read Jim wendler’s articles on training athletes. Box jumps and medicine ball throws could possibly help.
No, bands def not necessary for a beginner and will probably burn you out
So once a week going from 50-80ish percent in a cycle would be too much?
as a beginner yeah, and even as an intermediate when first trying out speed work/Westside/accomodating resistance etc it best to do a run with straight weight first time out
