Band & Chain Training for Non-PL's

I am using flex bands with squats (jump stretch) and chains with the bench. I am using these in a 5 X 5 non powerlifting program. Getting good results. Should I cycle these tools much like a PL program or just keep going till I hit a wall? I am using the light bands and single set of chains. I am thinking of picking up a set of the average bands. Any input would be welcome.
