Really mailing it in these days

I do feel like I’ve been mailing it in nowadays, but I’m doing what I can.

I was just joking about the units, you have g instead of kg!

15 miles of running and 2 full-body workouts in 4 days doesn’t count as mailing it in!

Oh jeez, I didn’t even notice that :joy:

Stress-induced insomnia robbed me of sleep and willpower. Still, I managed a heavy rep PR overhead for the first time in probably three years. I can’t remember (oof ) if my best single was 70 or 75, but I can’t complain. I think a triple may have been possible today as well.

I finished the running in 17:40. It wasn’t very difficult to be honest, but the heat and humidity were pretty brutal this morning, and I didn’t have much time anyway.

Ran a hilly 10k in 53:46

I will be traveling in a few days, so I decided to do my LSS one day earlier than usual. It was brutal. I can’t deal with triple-digit weather. I hate summer. I’m at least glad that I didn’t phone it in after mile four like I wanted.

I didn’t have much time today. I am leaving early in the morning and will use the time away as a deload. I’m not sure if I will rerun this when I return, but the chances are decent.

Hilly three-mile run en route to work in 23:38. Ran another 1.5 miles on my way home in 11:41

I got home yesterday. Very tired, and my knees and feet hurt from all the walking. I have to travel again in two weeks for work. Not really looking forward to the five-day trip, but at least it’s in an awesome destination, and I should be able to go hiking. Anyway, I probably delay my next program until I return from that and in the meantime will do my own thing.

It is always wonderful to go back to the place I consider home. I went for personal business but still managed to do some fun things. Thanks!

My timer definitely goofed during the first interval; it says I ran the first round in 2:25, which certainly cannot be true. However, I did receive some great news today – it feels like I haven’t been able to say that in a long time. So, I reckon I did run a bit faster than usual at first.
