It’s been eon’s, since the last time I posted anything here. Now it’s time to get going again and I’m back on the 5/3/1 wagon and, I don’t see that changing anytime soon. We pick up the actions on C2/W2/D2
[i]This truly sucks… Had to modify the session, to get just at little work done. I’ll reset my training max to 160-165kg and go harder on the assistance work (Meaning that I’ll actually do son work after the main sets.)
warm up->
15 @ 90 kg
13 @ 97,5 kg
1*10 @ 102,5 kg +9 reps
6*10 @ 55 kg (feet up, medium grip)
Deadlift (conv. no belt)
warm up->
15 @ 120 kg
13 @ 150 kg
1*10 @ 167,5 kg +9 reps
Both BP and DL went ok… Doing two days in one session isn’t the funniest thing. With Easter and work it couldn’t be avoided, but I left most of the assistance work undone.
Music… These are hometown heroes of mine. They’ve been at it for 30 years, and this their best album in the last 20.
last set should have been 62,5! Forgot the small plates and still only got 11 reps ( one less than last week). Will go on to 65 for 3’s and try get son improvement there.
10 sets of Lat pull down. Tried to do pull-up but, my elbows protested in a rather painfull
way.
210 @ 60 kg
25 @ 80 kg
25 @ 100 kg
15 @ 120 kg
15 @ 140 kg
114 @ 155 kg +9 reps
My… do I ever hate these high rep sets! Same number of reps as on the previous cycle but 5kg more on the bar, it’s called progress. It might be slow but I’m getting there.
Front squat
210 @ 20 kg
15 @ 40 kg
15 @ 50 kg
15 @ 60 kg
15 @ 70 kg
15 @ 80 kg
Stopped here. My tank was pretty much empty after deads…

Any progress is a good thing. Keep up the good work.
