Back Squats & Good Mornings on Same Day?

Wondering if it’s a bad idea to pencil in both Back Squats and Good Mornings on the same day?

As long as you can recover from it you will be good.

This begs the question: Do you perform both exercises with the same intensity?

I did maximum intensity with Squats, using heavy weights. Squats were the focal exercise for thighs and hips. All subsequent leg exercises were assistance exercises. (Exception: When my back was injured the Leg Press was the focal exercise.) When, and if, I did Good Mornings I used moderate weight, trying to focus on feeling my hamstrings. I never did Good Mornings except on Leg Day.

Nice, I’ll probably lower my weight for Good Mornings then and keep my squat at a higher weight. Not looking to throw out my back.

I hurt my back moving a large, heavy box when moving into another apartment. I have never hurt my back in the gym.

As long as I don’t skip leg day, I win.
