OHP: 5x5@ 95, dead stop to a hold on top. Worked fast w/60 sec. rest. Pretty pumped after these.
DL: 3x4@ 205, con. and sumo/ 3@ 264/ 3x3@ 315
Box DL: 3x4@ 264.

Friday, 2/10.

Belt SQ: 2x10@ 300, 3x10@ 500, 6 reps @ 600 (to much), 2x10@ 300.
Seat cable row: 5x15@ 120.
High Inc.DB: 10@ 30, 40, 3x15@ 50’s.
A few sets of High Pulls…
Band work, standing calf raise 5x10.

Sitting back, driving backside up first on Belt Sq, trousers fitting well today :)…video to follow :hushed:

225 lbs.; decent path.

2nd set @ 264lbs. Again, decent bar path I’d say.

RDL from 4" blocks: 3x6@ 155, 205/ 6@ 245/ 6x4@ 295. Controlled down, stay tight, back up. Smooth and easy.
Seated cable row: 5x10@ 130.
Face pulls: 5x10@ 80.
Belt SQ: 2x10@400/ 2x5@ 600/ 3x10@ 400.
BE: 3x3@ 155/ 2x3@ 200/ 3@ 222/ 3x3@ 242.

Did the following, Circuit style:

Seated ham: 5x10@ 70. Different machine than usual.
Standing calf: 5x10@ 150.
Back raise: 5x20@ +20 med ball.
High Inc. DB press: 10’s @ 30,30,50,70,70.

Leg Press: 15@ 320, 520/ 2x10@ 720/ 2x20@ 520.
Ab wheel: 5x5. Slow and tight.

Saturday: Another circuit/conditioning session, then some heavy lifting.
Just worked out that way…BW @ 190lbs.

Face pulls: 4x10@ 100. 2 mins. between rounds.

Overhead press: 2x5@ 95

1st attempt@ 185, 1/2 rep, then 1 push press rep.
2nd set @ 185, 1/2, 1/2, 1/2 rep; couldn’t lock out anything.
3rd attempt@ 185, 1/2 rep, 2 push reps, locked out.

Thursday 2/23: No lifting, 2 hour training for work; new computer stuff. Had a great recovery day of calories, massage and nap :)…then laundry.

Friday: Spoiler alert=BE PR today.

Suddenly had a thought to hit some heavy singles, maybe PR. Warmed up so-so, but went for it anyway.

BE: 3x3@ 155/ 2x3@175/ 2@ 200, 222/ singles @ 242, 265, 275 (4 lbs PR).
Slingshot @ 295 miss, help at lockout/ 285 hit, fighting/ 295, missed off the chest, fried by now :))

DB low incline: 10’s @ 60, 80, 80’s. Flies= 15@ 30’s after last set.
Belt SQ: 2x10@ 400.
Leg Press: 3x15@ 550.

Not much BE last two weeks; OHP more often. I’ll take my 4lbs because, you know, we count every one!

After training, yet another recovery special: donuts, massage, napping…then more laundry:)

Donuts and a nap. It does not get any better than that.

So, 9 weeks out tomorrow; DL’s tonight, to see where I’m at. After that, it’s a big push to the Meet.
It’s been 2 weeks since I’ve pulled from the floor; I’ll see how that worked out for me later:)
