Saturday night, after work.

Went to do singles (6-8) at 280-300lbs: then THIS happened.

SQ: 3x3@ 155/ 2x3@ 205/ single @ 265/ 17 X 1 @ 285, all done in 25 minutes (because anyone can do just 16). Ridiculous, yes…but fun!!! Started going EMOM, got bogged down around #10, cranked it back up and finished fast. Vids to follow.

Belt SQ: 2x5@ 500 (to much!), 3x8@ 300…slowly.

OHP: 2x5@ 95/ 6x3@ 135.

For the record: Yes, 10-12 reps…may have been enough, and Yes I know depth was not constant (and I don’t care) :slight_smile:

Done. Ate my chocolate custard at the bus stop…and went home.

Rep 8 @ 285lbs.

Big finish: rep 17 @ 285lbs.

It must have been getting serious by 17 because clothes started coming off. Thank goodness they were singles or else you may have been accused of doing cardio :laughing:

Very serious; another few reps, and I was down to my Grrr-animals briefs:)

A little stiff from Sat. night, but not bad. Been eating a bunch since then, which helps of course. I’ll do a more sensible EMOM/ Pendlay session for Deads later in the week; you know, for fun!

I have no training to post, yet, here I am.

Slept thru my Tuesday alarm; no lifting before work. No alarm on Weds, slept 11 hours :wink: 21 hours in the last 2 nights; playing catch up?? Whatever it was, I feel great going into my weekend.
Thurs/Fri/Sat will be big training days, with eating and recovery to match!!

DL: 3x3@ 185 (con. and sumo) All conventional: 3x1@ 245/ 1@ 295/ 6x3@ 345 (85%). Couple vids up soon; little shaky on the last set.

3 x 100’ with 85lbs water keg. 1 minute in between.

For the record, Brute Fury (yes, ‘THE’ Brute Fury) was witness to the final lap. So impressed, she was last seen sitting in a chair, and yawning in my general direction :slight_smile:

Belt SQ (Quads): 2x8@ 300/ 6, 6, then 3x10@ 500.
Seated row: 3x10@120.
Pullovers : 3x10@ 40.
OHP : 2x5@ 95/ single @ 135/ 5x1@ 155.
RDL: 5x3@ 225

4th set, 345 (85%).

6th set; a little off, but finished.

Triples at 345 is nice work Z…

Fatigue setting in here. You can see how dis-jointed I was getting: knees pop forward…hips dropping back, not very smooth at this point but, I did power through it. I’d hit 308 for a single, a few times before, but NEVER tried for more. I’ll track it as my 3-rep max at 308lbs.

last max was 336lbs, in a meet 2 months ago btw; so that’s cool :slight_smile:
