Form looks really good on the squats z man. You do a great job of maintaining a straight torso. About the only thing I see is that you are going to need to work on depth with the new stance.

Rock climbing and squats. It does not get any better.

Was that 500 belt squat as easy as you made it look?

Depth wont be an issue; never is. I was more watching how/where my knee/hips are moving and going. This coming week is still light for SQ, and I’ll sink down…into the Darkness.

That Belt SQ rig is great, I’m really liking it. SQ or DL stance, you get a powerful drive off the platform. Pretty cool.

Ive already done an hour of ‘winter conditioning’; pushing snow at work:)…more tonight I’m sure. Glad I got in a 3 hour nap after work Sunday:)

Tuesday 1/17:
Some old favorites today.

Flat DB press: 2x15@ 50’s/ 10 @ 60,70,70.
Seated Hammer Inc: 4x6@ 225. Hard squeeze at the top.

AD/AB machine: 15 each @ 80,100,120,140.
Seated Leg press: 3x20@ 300.
straight calf 3x10

Thursday:

The only other 2 guys at the gym were benching, so I benched:)

BE: 3’s @ 135,135, 185, 205,225/ 3x3@ 245…3x3@ 225. having not benched in a couple weeks, I was happy enough with decent triple at 245.

Seated chest sup-rows: 10@ 60, 70, 80/ 4x10@ 95. Weight loaded on each side. Never seen this before our gym; Tuff-something brand. Sit upright, handles rotate if wanted, weight is out in front. Really feel this for the stretch and squeeze. A little weight, goes a long way:)
Facepulls: 4x10@80

Belt SQ: 10@ 300/ 4x10@500. Set to hit parallel, tension on Quads. Tough.

Solid work all around Z!

Always lead follow z man. If there are only two guys in the gym and they are benching strip down to your gym shorts and start doing deadlifts!

Come to think of it that attitude is probably why I work out alone at home. Carry on!

Super set 1; OHP @ 30’s plus low Inc. @ 50’s: 3x10.

S.S. 2: High Inc. @ 50’s plus Power shrugs @ 65’s: 3x10.

S.S. 3: 1 arm rows @ 65 plus Rev. crunch/bench: 5x10 each side, then crunch.

Did some short-step walking lunges throughout, no weight, about 5x20 steps, just to move my legs.

Thursday; turning into Bench day (2 weeks in a row), with another regular at our gym: my weight, explosive as hell, and stronger except for BE. Yes, I dislike him.

BE: 2x3@ 135,185,225/ single @ 245,265/ Slingshot 3x1@ 285. Wide grip 3x10@ 135.

Seated Rows: 2x8@ 70,90, 120.
DB low fly: 3x15@ 30’s

85lbs. Keg Carry: 3x100’

Short, to the point; felt solid.

I was feeling like shit at my August meet from cutting too much weight the day before and not sleeping that night. The food I brought for the meet wasn’t helping. They fired up a grill outside and were selling cheeseburgers. 2 of those and I was good to go!!

Cheeseburgers and lifting definitely go together. I will refrain from commenting on whether there was an enticing women involved or not.

They sure do Dave, but last night it was 20oz. frozen custard from Good Times; also hits the spot :slight_smile:
