Smith machine RDL: 2x5@225/ 6x3@ 275.

At work that night: DB curls and ohp; 5x10 each.

Thursday; quick, at rec center.

Sets of 5 got tough (which is a bit sad)

Friday @ Iron Warrior; 12/30.

DL: Day 4 of conventional/mixed: 4x3@ 185; lockouts sumo+con. 2 reps@ 225,225,275/ 6x4@ 315. Did pretty well, felt/looked like I started in better position (middle and end sets).

Seated cable row: 8@ 140,140/ 4x6@ 160. Hard squeeze/pause on these.
Pullovers: 3x20 @ 30.

Standing curls (camb. bar): 4x10@ 75…you know, for the chicks.

***Had a special appearance by our own Brute Fury, who (may or may not) have hit a BE PR, having not benched in 4 years !?! I will be checking the record books on that one. The gym was all a-buzz I can tell you; I have been for 3 months now.

Rolling I am Chick:) I’ve got 4 solid months, a few new tools in the toolbox, new DL set up and a slightly wider SQ stance…should be fun!

Sunday, 1/1/17 @ the Pump Parlour.

DB low incline; fly + press, 10 each @ 30, 30,40,50.
***Rear Delt machine: 3x10@100 after each.

Three giant sets of:
DB (same); 65’s @ 15, 13, 13 reps.
***10 wide pushups
*** 10 shrugs @ 50’s

Band work throughout.

Tuesday, 1/3/17

Leg Press: 2x15@480/ 3x15@570/ drop set 15@ 570,480 + 20 top1/2 reps at 480. Deep quad stretch after each set.

Seated Ham curls: 8@ 120,150,165/ 4x8@180. Tried for a drop set to finish; not so fast! I’d drop a plate and get 2-3…drop another for 2-3. Finally dropped to 120 and got 8 full reps to finish. Ugly, but effective. Good hams stretch after each set.

OHP: 2x5@95/ 3x5@135. Sets 4 &5 had 3 clean reps, then 2 with a little ‘pushpress’ in there :slight_smile: Held every last rep at lockout for a 5 count.

Plenty of pullaparts between pressing sets. Ate a ton of carbs/cals for first 3 hours after training. Feeling pretty good

Off work the next 3 days==no snow shoveling!!

Thursday, 1/5. ‘Snow day’, trained at the Rec Center.

Back raise: 4x10@ +45.
Face pulls: 4x10

DL: 2x5@225/ 5x5@275.
Mid incline press: 5@135,155,175/ 3x3@ 185/ 2x10@135 (wide grip).

New SQ stance (a bit wider)

3x3@ 155/ 2x3@ 198/ 3@ 242, 264, 286/ 3x1@ 308. Singles may have been a bit of a reach but, we all know how it is :slight_smile: Vids later.

Belt SQ: 8@300/ 3x5@500.

BE: 2x5@155/ 2x5@ 198/ 3 reps @ 242/ 3x10@155 wide. Safeties, in cage, with bar pad= 3" ‘board press’.

Home alone at the gym for the last 90mins or so.

PT’s Showclub (I think they show classic films?) was jumping when I left; it was Saturday night after all.
