Set of 264. Little “wobbly in the hips”; not in a good way…

One @ 330; same as above

520lbs on this. As you can see, I’m a natural  It’ll take some work, finding the right foot placements/ angles ect. Overall I liked this machine.

Hmmmm… am I seeing things or is there some type of growth on your face?

I was hoping for footage of the keg carry. There was a guy that I worked with who would sit two 16 gallon kegs(full of beer) on the middle deck of the trailer. Back up and pull one off on each shoulder. Carry them in bar that way to impress the ladies. Be surprised how many times it worked!

Yes, yes, a bit of growth left over from the cold weather up here; took care of it all last night!

One of my residents just brought by a Christmas gift for me; a Valeo padded weight belt. Good for training for sure (heavy carries), but not legit for meets of course. He’s an old school Oly lifter from the 70’s (name withheld) and he’s told me some stories, shown me some old weightlifting mags from back in the day, that sort of thing. It was a nice surprise; I’ll be trying it out tonight with some carries!

Per request, I’ll try to get a video:)

Sunday training= 3 hour round trip, for 1:20 of lifting (plus 3 burgers at the bus stop). Not ideal, but a bunch-o-benching got done:)

BE: 3x5@ 155, 5@ 175, 195/ 3@ 220, 220 240, 240/ Elite chest pad (4"?); 4x3@ 220 close grip. I think that’s all.

SQ: 3x5@155, 2x3@ 198, 4x3@ 242.

No time for carries; this Sunday schedule is a bummer. It’s either short (as above) or add another hour of lifting, until the next bus, and then work a double+ the next day like always…

I’ll figure it out.

Wow! I can’t even imagine living like that. You are one dedicated dude.

Well, thanks for that, but it’s a little silly sometimes. I’m thinking of doing that every few weeks, for a big pull or squat day. Otherwise, I have a ‘home gym’ (in my building) that would do alright, with a little change to my overall weekly plan.

Time will tell:)

Just the beginning…of my Holiday Spirit

But then wouldn’t get to play with Karen and Brute. What fun is that?

And… I was really wanting to hear some caroling with that tie.

Check you out in your tie

:)!!!

Congrats on the squat and total PR’s! You will break 1,000 in February.

Thanks Big D!! I’ll be seeing you around the old T-Nation next year sometime:)

Warming up: Day 2 of Convention/ mixed grip. I’ll try another angle next time:)

245lbs.

Working on it; 335 lbs.

Anyway, it’s a work in progress. I’ll pull this way for awhile and see what happens. Just need to read up, study up ect, and get myself into the groove(y).
