Back in the Saddle Again, Again

Ok, So abandoning initial log. Hopefully this is more positive. Luckily, I can start off fantastically!

When I was lifting last time, I had always thought I should start all over again so here’s my chance.
Squats are full range. deads are narrow-ish stance, neutral grip.

Rode Saturday and Sunday. Missed weekly target by a couple miles. But looks fantastic from training load perspective!

Did up dose to both ride and recover. Sleep was better than it’s been! Well… " were it not that I have bad dreams ." But that’s par for the course. At least these bad dreams were constructive!

Sats ride was 24 m / 1362 ft.
Sundays was 23 m / 1040 ft.

Will work up slowly…

For upper body 3x10 is working well. So I’ll keep it for a few months…

ROLLOUTS!
3x5 first time since torn ab/ artery. Going to stay at 3x5 for quite awhile. Only slight twinge. Not even pain, really. I’ve been using an electronic ab stimulator to try and reduce the strength loss. seems to work!

F! bad pain next day, still bad pain 3 days later. Only pretty bad upon use. so maybe a few more weeks before rollouts.

Well first set of squats put an end to that… But all in all a really good lift! felt good with a little more mass on the bar. EGO’s gonna earn me a setback if I’m not cautious.

gym was hot and humid. Lots of time between sets. still sheepish about working weight being 1/2 body weight…

Hydrocortisone dosing was decent. But did highlight how important it is to adjust dosage to workout and workout to dosage.

no shrugs (due to motorcycle crash I get golfers/tennis elbow in both arms… The inner one on my right is giving real troubles since dead lifts…_
