Back Extensions, 45 Degrees vs Flat

What's the difference between the one where you are parallel to the ground and the one where you are at a 45 degree angle? muscles recruited? effectiveness? mix and match? Thanks

45* give you more resistance at the bottom and a less drastic change in resistance from top to bottom and the horizontal ones. if you can try them both. its also easier to carry weight on your back on the 45*
