Also, would a setup such as 5x2 80%, 4x2 85%, 6x1 90% be sufficient volume for improving the clean if done 2x a week with strength work?


Maybe. Who knows. My coach programs far less volume on the clean itself, and accumulates volume through pulls. We all progress nicely on the clean and snatch. Only way to find out is to try it.


Back angle is fine, but you're engaging your back too early still. The bar is flying out away from you on that 245. Try and get your pulls to look like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jRdBqHbA1LA
