Avoiding Grinder Reps...


I recently took your advice to heart about reps and stopped training to failure. As a former Mike Mentzer disciple, this is the last principle I was willing to consider. After reading what you had to say about "grinders", I started thinking to myself that it actually DOES take discipline to stop a set and forgo setting a PR when you are feeling strong. And since discipline always has benefits (especially for bodybuilding), I gave it a shot. 

I have made consistent gains in size and strength in the last three weeks and have you to thank. I now fight the urge to push myself and set a PR knowing that my gains could be compromised.

To say you are a stud is to give you too little credit! Thanks for all you do.
