There is a decent one in Cronulla that I have used with success. I will hunt down the info for you.

depends on how far you want to travel. some that come to mind near you are the PCYC gym in north sydney. really cheap ($35 a month). the equipment is beat up and old, which normally suits me fine, but you may have some difficulty with some exercises. definitely worth a look though. i know of more up north, but whats the point of a gym if its too far away?

why dont you want commercial??

I go to fitness first (extremely commercial) but I joined when it was really cheap.

THey got all the equipment i need and allow deadlifts and other compounds even if ppl look at you funny.

ya, maybe ill try fitness first lol. Its expensive though. And i doubt fitness first allows you to perform olympic lifts.

Which fitness first do you go to?

Obviously travelling to the North is too far but i mean, from kingsford to bondi junction or eastgardens isn;t that far.

check your local uni. I don’t know sydney uni’s but down here wollongong uni has a decent gym. You just have to look around.

Burwood PCYC until recently had the NSW weightlifting team there and was incredibly cheap, both for membership and coaching. however they are currently finishing up on a move to Homebush. if they dont actually suit your training needs they should know of places that will.
