Some boxing and muay thai drills. I have been sitting on an impulse purchase for a month or so, and finally pulled the trigger earlier this week. Got a pair of 50 oz. boxing gloves. Makes bag work interesting. Feels a bit anime-ish, but my hands felt so light and quick after a few rounds with the heavy gloves. I look forward to seeing more improvement in conditioning and such.

Went to the doctor Tuesday, I had strept and bronchitis. In addition to a recently broken nose, I was feeling pretty under the weather and had quite a bit of difficulty breathing. Got back to a bit of training today, did too much and feel pretty bad. Nice to get moving, though.

I’ve been struggling for a bit. Since September, I’ve been enrolled in full time school while working 50ish hours a week. I wanted to take advantage of newly available financial aid. However my quality of life has dropped pretty dramatically.
I’ve done plenty to not help this endeavor. Due to some unforeseen circumstances, I’ve been sleeping on a pair of flat air mattresses (catclaws do that sort of thing) for the past couple months. I wanted to buy a quality bed and have limited funds, so I tried to wait till Black Friday-esque deals came around. Yesterday I finally got a mattress, and for the first time in a while I woke up not hating the idea moving on with the day. I’m quite excited to get back on track. I’ll be going back to a more reasonable school and work schedule after the first week of December, and will be getting back to more regular training.

#1000

Good news man. Glad things are improving

#1001

That’s a pretty rough workload man, good on you for getting anything extra in during it.

#1002

Fingers crossed. I’ve been sleeping so well I hardly know what to do with myself

#1003

For my mental and physical health, exercise can’t be extra. I have really noticed how much convenience plays a role in taking care of daily tasks. Just need to streamline things and work back into habitual actions rather than regular tasks feeling extraordinary.
