Attempts at Strongman

I think it was a bit of a fluke, combined with the shorter range of motion using a 12" log. My rep PRs are waaaaaay off my 1RM with the log, but are much closer/normal with a barbell or axle.

We can fix that

Took 2 days off in a row, feels weird. However, sleep was under 3 hours last night and my elbow still feels rough. Fingers crossed the rest helps makes things better.

Awesome work man! That hang power PR vid has got me fired up something fierce

Haha, I can only imagine how much that sucked. I think this would pull something if I tried it

Did your big boy bumper protect the truck?

Antlers got my hood a bit. But I took the opportunity to do some work on her. Finally put some lights in to the bumper cutouts and plasti-dipped a few things.

I like the look you have there.

A little dusty in the shop eh?

I make cabinets there, dusty doesn’t describe the half of it lol

Was this pretty tough? I’m picturing getting the front squats finished and just having enough time to get the bar set on your back to start walking it out again
 10mins of 315 front/back squats doesn’t sound appealing.

Bro that shit had me rolling. :joy:

Ehh, a little rough but not too bad. I don’t have much desire for heavier squatting (especially/primarily back squatting) right now, so making it more into conditioning helps me get volume in while not getting rusty with the movement pattern.

Preach brother, preach.

If yoke, stones, and front squat don’t cover what I might be missing with back squats
I don’t want it anyway lol
