i was thinking about buying this. I've had success with "dinosaur"-style programs in the past, and am looking to get stronger this summer, once i'm done dieting.

does anyone know if this is any good?

Please give a quick read of my thread from way back, about some seriously lousy customer service I experienced with Atomic Athletic.

Long story short: I ordered stuff, I never got it because it ended up being on backorder, and was hung up on when I called to cancel my order.

So, um, yeah. AA can suck a goat, for all I care. I’d look anywhere except AA for what you’re after.

Anyhow, I’m not even exactly sure what’s covered in the package you’re looking at. Bud Jeffries (strongerman.com) has some great info for getting beastly strong. So does EliteFTS.com and CJ Murphy who contributes there.

What exactly are you looking for, something to explain strongman-style training? Are you planning to compete or is this just recreational?

Dude, don’t waste your time and money with this. It’s nothing more than some books and videos with info that you could find on T-Nation and EliteFTS for free. This sounds a lot like those ads that promise the “secret” to getting stronger that turn out to be smoke and mirrors.

Do yourself a favor: Do a search on here and Elite for strongman programs and articles. I guarantee you’ll get more info and you can use that money for more important things like Farmers walk handles, sandbags, stones, whatever.

What a rip-off.
