If following the 5/2 diet while doing this program, would the best way to preserve muscle mass when doing the Sprints/ Moderate Intensity Cardio be to have a MAG-10 pulse prior to the cardio then have a 300-400 calorie meal after the session?

Are you talking about doing the sprint/cardio on a fast day? If so simply have MAG-10 pre and post. That will be enough to preserve muscle mass, it’s only one day. Muscle wont waste away in one day.
