Where did you find the rest of Santa (and his clothes)?
Indeed. And the specifics re disease transmission are not for the faint of heart (the medical term is fecal-oral transmission).

Thee ol ATM, niceâŠ
And the urban term is human-centipod
Unfortunately, it doesnât have to be direct fecal-oral contact (ie, in the âhuman centipedeâ sense). Pinworms can be (and almost always are) transmitted via fomites (=everyday objects that serve as vectors for disease transmission). So, some little booger-eater with pinworms scratches his hiney, then touches the counter at McDonaldâs, and in doing so deposits eggs on the counter. Then you come along, touch the counter, pick up the eggs, ingest them along with your Big Mac, and voila! From his hiney to your digestive tract.
eeewwwww why did you have to use McDonalds as an example?
Somehow that makes it 10000x more gross
Yep. Walked into the daycare one morning and saw one kid scratching his ass and riffling through the toy bin and thought âHere we go. Round 6 of communicable diseases.â. Within no time it was all of them.
Trying to explain that all to my wife was a task. Ended up just pulling up the wiki on them and saying âRead this.â. Then off to the pharmacyâŠ
