I request a recommendation of an Active Release Technique provider in the west Los Angeles area (or nearby). I also request a referral to a sports medicine doctor who is not dismissive of weight lifters. My experience with orthos and sports M.D.s has been bad. I have a problem with my left shoulder. I have limited range of motion. I cannot squat because I can’t get the left arm back far enough. I can’t press anything over 10 pounds above my head. (I formerly could press 135 x8 at body weight of 175)
I have worked around it for six months but I am concerned as it’s not healing.
