Next week I fly from here in Taiwan to Scotland for my mom’s 75th birthday (she says ‘hi’ to you guys)
I’m originally from Canada and have been to Scotland before, flying from Canada.
Since I flew to Taiwan from Canada ( going over the Pacific) and next week I’ll be flying west…once I arrive in Glasgow I’ll have circumnavigated the world in my lifetime.
That’s sort of neat.

I actually do think this IS cool.
I’ll make all kinds of stupid movies when I’m there. I have relatives so they should be OK with me making slight fun of their accents.

^^ The funny thing is I remember being more cynical when I was 23 or 24 or so.
Then I mellowed out a bit and am just waiting to become a crotchety old man.
I didn’t do anything wacky. Well, I finished what was supposed to be the biggest fish & chip supper and got a certificate, but it wasn’t that big.
