I’m in week 10 of the “armed for combat” plan and so far have seen great results. Coming upon the end though begs the question. Do you see any diminished return from just rolling back into day 1 after?
That would be too long to specialize on a muscle group. You will actually get more growth by drastically reducing direct arm work for 3-4 weeks, up to 6 weeks.
If you desire you could always do the plan a second time after that, but you need at least 4 weeks with a “regular” amount of arm work before.
So, it would detrimental to run this program within a 3x/week full body routine (minus arms)? Currently lifting Mon, Wed, Fri, but want to increase arm size a bit. Would it be too much to run Armed for Combat Tues and Sat during this time?
