Arimidex Side Effects = Miserable

#1

I've been cruising with test cyp 250mg and thought i would introduce some arimidex at .5mg x3 a week im on my second week now and by this point im having low libido, shortness of breath, chest pains, back and joint pains, diziness, trouble sleeping, upset stomach...this stuff is like poison!! Lol needless to say im getting off of this stuff i ran it for 2 weeks and my last dose was about 2 days ago. How long does it take after discontinuing use for these sides to go away??

Those aren’t side effects, those are you taking the wrong amount. You most likely crashed your E2. To answer your question about a week, maybe sooner.

Seems strange you could crash your e2 with Adex and such a relatively small amount. Adex isn’t very effective at lowering estradiol more than 30% I believe. I think it unlikely you crashed your e2 with 1.5mg Adex a week.

Some people over respond to it. Crashing your E2 sucks, makes you feel like you aged 30 years overnight. I crashed my E2 with .25mg. I also crashed it with .125mg. It takes a good week to get to the point where you start feeling better after you crash it. The only reason I ever took it in the first place was everyone says you should be taking it, but I don’t seem prone to gyno even when taking a relatively high dose of test. I don’t plan on taking it again.

I find your lack of knowledge on E2 disturbing. It just continues to blow my mind that people use AAS and have no clue what is going on. And it gets better, because you don’t even want to know.

So for those that might stumble on this thread. Controlling E2 is about gyno, water retention, fat storage, receptor down regulation, enlarging prostate and other things man.

Dear Kountkornholio, Thanks so much for assuming I know nothing about E2, and also assuming I don’t want to know anything about it. It gives me a nice warm warm fuzzy feeling that you took the time out of your busy day to slam me.

  1. The point of my reply was simply to say that some people over respond to Arimidex.
  2. What I find disturbing is that everyone in the TRT forums is always jumping up and down insisting that your E2 should be between 20-20 regardless of total testosterone level. The theory that the E2 to Total test ratio should be between 14-20 makes much more sense to me now. As an example … My Total test while cruising on TRT was 930 and my E2 was 48.

According to the ratio, my E2 should be between 46 and 66. I crashed my E2 trying to get to that 20-30 range. Yes it was stupid to try and drop it 18 points, lesson learned. So as far as I’m concerned I’m fine, even tho it’s not in that magical 20-30 range.

3)The reason I visit these forums is to learn. If I’m wrong, let me know. But try not to be snide about it. We are adults right ? Forums are for learning, yes ?
4) Best wishes to you Kountkornholio. I will always remember you, xoxo

Your point on being an overresponder was helpful to the discussion. I responded about your E2 comment, not for the sake of helping you, but so others would steer clear of your “I don’t get gyno so I am swearing off AI’s” strategy.

I think it is a great idea for you to have prolonged exposure to high E2. Let us know how that works out for you.

No, no way! Adex is great for me, it works just like magic for me. No water retention, feeling very well with this stuff. I damn the day I started using steroids without this thing. This sides you told us, like others said, is YOU using the wrong amount for YOU (or your steroid dose)… u need to build up this thing, U cannot start using what someone said to you, even if you do some blood work you cannot tell what’s the exact dose.

When I was in trouble with steroids, a friend of mine told me, ohh, this shit is strogen sides… use some adex. I said ok, but how much? He told me, build up some of it in your blood stream and you’ll find the dose… I started with 0,25 every 3 day, kept for a week, then jumped for 0,5 and then, 1mg every 2 day, and this is my dose. It may be high for someone else but it’s heaven for me.

We know from the TRT forum where guys are on steady protocols long term and doing lots of labs:
Some guys are anastrozole over-responders who need to take 1/4th of the expected dose. In these cases where E2 has crashed, they need to wash out for 5-6 days, then resume anastrozole at 1/4th of the expected dose.

Please see info here as well: http://tnation.T-Nation.com/free_online_forum/sports_training_performance_bodybuilding_gear/the_pct_serm_dosing_in_this_forum_is_wrong

Anastrozole is a competitive drug that needs to match serum FT levels. Labs would be helpful.

How you inject T matters! If you inject once a week, T levels crash then your Arimidex at .5mg x3 becomes an overdose.
Suggest that you inject twice a week and take anastrozole at that time. Then T and anastrozole levels will roughly rise and fall together which will be a much better situation.

So you could be an over-responder or suffering from a bad protocol, or both.

We see E2 crashed in TRT guys all of the time.
Some are anastrozole over-responders who need to take 1/4th of the normally expected dosing.
See my post above this one.
