Are Breads Essential

I am currently cutting and have been consuming some oats as my breakfast carb source.

My question is is it necessary to eat some oats or breads during dieting/cutting or is it possible to just eat fruits and vegetables for carbs?

Fiber intake IS important.
However,as long as you get enough fiber it really doesn’t matter where your carbs come from as long as they’re complex carbs.
Oatmeal is great to have when cutting.
Nothing wrong with that.

Are you losing fat? Are you moving the same or more weight at the gym?

If the answer to both of these is yes, keep doing what you’re doing and only adjust if stop losing fat. Get a cloth tape measure and measure your waist to get progress.

thanks I was wondering because I can eat a lot more veggies for the same amount of carbs than half a cup of oats gives me.
