I’m a 22 year old power lifter who just started a GVT cycle. Why? After multiple pl cycles, I have a few minor injuries I’d like to heal and I could use a mental break from pl’ing. Anyways, my question is how light did you guys have to start the squat work out. I’m 5’5", 132 lbs., and my best squat is 450 lbs. but today I couldn’t get through the 10 x 10 with 240 lbs., I wasn’t even close. I got 7 sets of 10 and then I felt like I was going to pass out. Do you think that going really light, say 210, would be of benefit to me. Thanks.
