Have any of you tried Sesamin?
It's a PPAR agonist.
"Activation of PPAR-alpha promotes uptake, utilization, and catabolism of fatty acids by upregulation of genes involved in fatty acid transport and peroxisomal and mitochondrial fatty acid β-oxidation."
In rat studies, it increased enzymes involved in fat oxidation and decreased enzymes involved in fat storage.
It has been around for quite sometime, so I would assume it is not as great as it sounds, but I'm interested in what you guys think.
There is also another issue. I found quite a few posts about it killing people's libidos. Some guys think it has to do with it binding at the estrogen receptor sites and blocking estradiol. Some people think it just has to do with people using it while dieting, but I never seen so much posts about a supp causing problems like that.
