Anyone Else on Facebook?

I was thinking some nights I would like to just shoot the shit with ya all in a chat room. Since T-mag doesn’t have a chat room client anyone else on Face book or have a fav IRC channel?

I am easy to find on face book, search Colin Wilson and don’t pick the English author…

I got an account . I thought I’d run into other local powerlifters , and we would talk training ; or run into others who fish , and talk fishing . but no , turns out FB is for sending people imaginary flowers and hearts because everybody on FB is awesome ; or telling everybody they accomplished some heroic task on farmville.

pretty fuckin’ lame for the most part . I kinda do my own thing . I sometimes post my lifting sessions…just to show what I do with my time .

I’ll look ya up . it’ll be good to find someone else who trains . just dont send me any damned smiley faces

I have one. Wilson Jones from NC

Don’t disrespect Farmville and the flowers and stuff.

You know you can disable those right? I shut that crap off a long time ago.

I’ve found Facebook to be a great source of connections for lifters. Some are local and quite a few are spread all over the place. I started with a few people I know on T-Nation and ended up connected with friends of friends and have gotten a ton of great information and feed back. I also ended up with a tenant via a lifter in Arizona and I live in Hamilton Ontario.

I don’t spend a ton of time on it but most of the guys that I know locally that I’ve competed or trained with are friends and it’s easy to catch up and see what’s going on.

Yes, you’ve amassed quite the network. I actually freeload off your friends list whenever I want to send someone a message. So thanks for doing the leg work for me.

Started mine not to long ago, maybe in the fall. I have a wierd network of all these old hooligan/punk rock types from the 80s that I grew up with, a growing number of some names in powerlifting, and then a few, unfortunate souls from my professional life. It really is quite interesting. I posted a while ago that a recruiter stated I was ‘very polished and professional’. Effen hilarious some of the responses.

Colin, I am looking you up.

fug that, there are 500 of yeah, I will IM you mine.

HA HA, that works! That is the funny thing about face book all these time periods in my life colliding and getting shit from all my friends through out the years!

I’m there , friends with some people here,
but my name is super common-

PM me if you like

I got ya! Thanks KMC!
