Anybody Else Grow a Lockdown Beard?

Maybe Fu-Manchu, but not Handlebar. It is exactly the style one of my uncles grows, and I notice is common amongst hot-rodders of that generation.

No, other than just doing it and knowing it doesn’t last.

I had to periodically trim back my beard when the the IDF. (You could still have a beard, but on some assignments, it had to be short enough for the gas mask to seal, so 3-4 mm.) There was always an unpleasant initial phase.

Shampooing can help, as well as a good face scrub (for men, with pumice) to rub into the skin under the beard - gets rid a lot of the dead stuff quickly.

I grew out this mess. First time ever growing it out and was very surprised at how grey it was. Ended up shaving it for a client meeting.

Not even you could take 16, Beth.

(I’m talking about beards here. Get your mind out of the gutter.)

I just want something long enough to braid and put beard beads in.

Also, is it just me or are there a lot of gingers on here?

Gingers are taking over the world - its part of our plan.

I’ve decided to grow my beard out. It grows extremely fast between weekly haircuts so it’ll be interesting to see how quick it will grow.

I have a red beard, or used to. Now I’m old and it looks more like the Canadian flag, red on the sides and white in the middle.
