Any World Conflict Predictions for 2010?

According to Gerald Celente and The Trends Research Institute, 2010 will be the year of a final collapse of the American economy, and a 9/11 style terror attack in a major US city.

Then again, “experts” have predicted major attacks EVERY YEAR on US soil since 2001. We’ve had the Ft. Hood attack and other incidents (mostly foiled terror plots by US muslims), but so far we have not suffered casualties like those of 9/11.

Who will attack us, and how? Is it safe to say that Asian countries will try to hurt us financially, while Iran might try militarily? (leading question, I know)

Also, do you guys think that this is the year when nuclear powers (Pakistan vs. India) will collide?

i just hope the powers that be wait until my enlistment is up.

Nah, all of this stuff is staged. Attacks will be relatively minor. However, the commercial mortgage market will collapse this year and the Fed won’t be able to sell enough bonds to fill the huge hole created. This will lead to massive money printing. Maybe not this year, but expect price controls and total regulation of the economy. The last remnants of capitalism are done.

Who’d a thunk…Marx was right!!

When the economy collapses, and it will starting next year. They may implement price controls, but as more and more people are waking up they won’t last too long. When this happens expect tax riots and bread riots.

I am seeing this turn into a Atlas shrugged kind of situation where the tax payers are going to say enough is enough and kick the leaches to the curb.

Capitalism is still healthy and alive, unlike Marx.
Couldn’t the fed bailout money help housing? The supply of new homes is in decline, so you’d think that values would go up.
What do you think, HH?
