I'm currently in the process of putting together a home gym. So far I have a barbell and dumbbells with sufficient weights, but still lack a good power rack and bench. Can anyone suggest a good quality set?
They have the nicest stuff around.
It really depends how much you want to pay and your lifts. newyorkbarbell.com have a wide range as well as elite.
Get the westdie model. It's very versatile and well worj=th the cash.
go here(see link below). i looked for a good month for a power rack all over the net. and yeah those other links have good equipment but way over priced. i got the powertec power rack for 379. has chin bar and dip attachments. sturdy, heavy gaguge tubing. just as good as those other ones but 1/3 the cost and i think shipng was free.
i got mine from the Home Gym Wharehouse about 3 years ago. i have loaded it up to about 800+ without any problems. i agree that the westside models are nicer but not worth 3x the cost for home use. if i had 30 or so guys using i might think differently-but it was 300$ !
