Well my new labs came back. I am going to schedule an appointment with the doctor and see where to go from here. It looks like most of my numbers have became worse with the supplementsâŠ

Doc is starting me on 10mg daily of Tamoxifen to see if that helps give me a bit more free T.
I will be getting labs done again in 6 weeks and will update with the progress.
I doubt youâll get much more with the tamoxifen. That high SHBG will be tough to overcome, while total t is mid range free is towards the bottom.
Might be worth a shot though.
Do you have symptoms of low t? How did you come to have the tests done?

You need a bigger dose. Tamoxifen wonât make any difference at all. Iâm not clear why he would think that it would. Unless youâre not on TRT, in which case it might, maybe, if you use pixie dust as wellâŠ
Yes, I had a few of the signs and figured it couldnât hurt to be tested.
Low libido, trouble loosing belly fat, inability to put on good muscle, some brain fog.
I am not on any form of TRT right now.
Waiting on the Tamoxifen to come in.
Undo your belt, it will be unencumbered and free to move about. You might find itâs better to just lose the fat thoughâŠ

I think youâre a candidate to at least try trt and get your free t up into the 20s to 30s, youâll probably feel better.
Donât worry about the number, itâll be what it is, go by how you feel.
You may need to hunt around a bit to find a good doc. Not that your current one is bad, just inexperienced is this field. A lot of docs treat numbers more than how a patient feels. Itâs how theyâre trained these days. You may have to pay out of pocket to get a good one. Not trying to scare you, just donât want you to be blindsided.
This is unlikely to work because SHBG is damn high, any testosterone increase will go towards Total+SHBG which is inactive.

Not sure if we have to conceal their name, but Iâm sure you can guess who it is.

Ok so thatâs fine then, what heâs doing is, most likely, demonstrating that theyâve tried something else before jumping on trt. Itâs because youâre total T is in the 500s, heâs protecting his liscense.
Discussing particular trt clinics is fine if you want.
Fyi my shbg before starting was in the high 60s and is now just below 30 the last time I checked it. So my T in brought it down by a bit over half.
I was kind of thinking this might be the case.
Either way it is worth a shot before jumping on Test.
The cost of the Tamoxifen is pretty low.

Results of being on Tamoxifen 10mg daily for the past 6 weeks. SHBG is at 112.5 now but everything else looks better.
Iâm fairly happy with the results and Iâm going to continue with this for 6 months and test again.
Tamoxifen should lower libido further by blocking Estrogen Receptor
