Sad news…Anthony Clark passed away last night due to a massive heart attack. A Memorial will be set up at Forest Park Funeral Home in Clear Lake, TX on Tuesday or Wednesday for family and friends. Anthony was one of the greatest legends in the sport and reponsible for giving our sport a lot of publicity and positive exposure with the general public. He will be greatly missed by many. RIP Anthony.

I got to train with him once. He was reverse grip bench pressing close to 800lbs. It took three guys to spot him. He was cool as hell. I’m glad I got to meet him and know him for a while but I hate that he died so early.

Huh. I hadn’t realized he was that much older than me.
Well, 5 years.
Yes, he was a pretty great HB.
Prof, you’re a lucky man.
Only 39???..thats insanely young.
It shows we all better be ready for God or whatever you think comes after this. Call me crazy, but I will take my chances with God.
He was an incredible physical being. Too strong to comprehend really.
He was a huge inspiration to me as I grew up and will continue to inspire me throughout my powerlifting career. My heart and prayers go out to his family.
