Another; Music Thread

Yes. This is starting back up.

Why?

Because new music happens, and who wants to go to the 17th page of an old thread?

Here is a list of some bands/songs/artists that I LOVE to listen to recently while I lift. (Music that makes you want to break a 45lb plate over you knee and scream!)

Five Finger Death Punch (The Way of the Fist)
SoilWork (All)
Dry Kill Logic
Chimaria
Catherine (might be spelled wrong; but the chick’s name)
Lamb of God
Silient Civilian
Throwdown

I’ll add more as the day goes by and I hear more sweetness.

amazing site of free internet radio; fast streaming…great music on there!

Diecast (I prefer Internal Revolution)

lol i dont even know whats new anymore. anything i thought was realtively new was put on the old threads.

Devildriver (all good; but clouds over california has an amazing opening)

Disturbed - Indestructible (song)

Bullet for my Valentine (not an emo band suprisingly!)

I don’t need angry death music that makes the listener feel like punching a baby. My Ipod is usually tuned to some punk, Pearl Jam, moe., or recently I’ve been rocking Doggystyle in the gym. Old school Snoop has no barriers!

Death Metal

Death Metal

followed up by some Death Metal

then some Death Metal after that

Sometimes prog./jazz/crossover/thrash/classical in between all that.

Been listening to Death Metal’s evil, scarier sounding cousin, Black Metal:

Melancolia Estatica
Xasthur
Averse Sefira
Drudkh
Burzum

*waits for detazathoth to tell me USBM is FAIL, lol

And some Death Metal too:

Nile
Amon Amarth (new album out Sept. 30th!!!)
Hate Eternal

Remember guys: JUST SAY NO TO BILLBOARD SHIT

More good heavy stuff:

x2 on Five Finger, Lamb Of God, and throwdown

All that remains

Norma Jean

Atreyu (the old stuff, suicide notes &butterfly kisses or the curse)

Parkway Drive

Hatebreed-Live For This/Destroy Everything (songs)

Blood Stain Child (japanese techno/metal)

Killswitch Engage

a few select Linkin Park songs

More like Bergen, Norway or Stockholm, Sweden. The respective “meccas” of Black and Death Metal.

Dope Boys- Lupe Fiasco - Dope Boy - YouTube

rich

like gifts

I’ve been using a combination of

old devildriver
NIN (good anytime)
Rise Against
Zeromancer
In Flames
All That Remains
The first two tracks from Indestructable

A Day to Remember. FTW.

I listen to one song and only one song while I lift. I loop it all throughout my workout.

That’s a win right there.

This is what I’ve been listening to lately, it shouldn’t be a surprise.

And this.
