Gym owner was moving stuff around in the gym prepping for painting. Couldn’t get to the trap bar as a result, so did zercher. I think I’ll keep them in, they do pretty much what GMs do. Had to jump in the middle of some other fellas workout on incline press. He already had weight on the bar so I just went with it. Start adding back weight on pullups once I can do 5x10 in good form.

I’m screwing up my push presses by letting my heels come off the floor during the launch. That means I’m descending as I’m trying to push the bar up. Not stable and why the last rep and last set are harder. The bar stalls at that moment and then I have to get it started again rather than having a smooth push throughout. Push presses at less than my press max shouldn’t be harder than my press max.

Those sandbags have me completely intimidated, after carrying them into the house from the car.

I come home from work on non-training days, look at them and think “No. Not tonight.”

This can’t continue.

Looking forward to squatting tonight. Good things are going to happen. I feel it.

I know that feeling. I got some farmer walk handles about 5 years ago. They are still in great shape, almost new condition.

Skipped training yesterday because sandbag the day before knocked me back a bit. Gonna have to start with less volume on those and titrate up over time. Plus I only got three hours of sleep.

And I don’t have to train if I don’t want to, besides.

Going in to train tonight, though.
