I was wondering about taking a shower after applying androsol, say four hours or so later. Has It been absorbed fully or will I be removing it. How long after is it safe to take a shower?
You will be removing most of it at the
four hour point, assuming you are soaping
and/or towelling.
Basically, the delivery requires the film
of 4-AD to be present on the skin. You’d
get continued delivery for only about 2 hours
once that film is removed.
So, after showering it is best to reapply
immediately. (If you waited the 2 hours, you’d
have a lag time between the delivery from
previously-applied- dissolved-in-the-skin
4-AD running out, and the newly applied 4-AD
making its way through the skin.)
