Androgel

What would be the sides/effects of a healthy 17yr old male using androgel for a month

Your profile name suits you well.

Idiot

And by “healthy” you either mean you’re 6’1 138lbs, or your 5’8 240… never have lifted a weight in your life.

Are we really going to have to guess?

A month?

I think if you use it that long, you start to look like Ronnie Coleman.

If you use it for over 2 months, the effects are permanent.

If you use 5mg/day you will down regulate your own testosterone and gain nothing. With 10mg/day, you might have the same effect and gain nothing as your test levels are probably very high at that age.

When your body down regulates your own testosterone production, your testicles will start to shrink. And if you are still growing, you make arrest your growth and not get any taller.

At your age, if your hormone status is normal, you would be crazy to be messing with this stuff. Taking testosterone for a month is silly in any case.

Most 17 year olds have very high testosterone levels. Are you training and not getting any gains at all?

Many of the people on this BB will yell at you for doing something like this at your age. Not because you are young, but because things like this could create harmful and permanent outcomes. Your body is changing very fast at your age and you do not want to mess up your normal development. I do not know what you know about ‘steroids’ but you need to know about how they can harm a growing persons development. The issues are complex and take years to properly understand. Take some time to read for a few years.

Please note that many things that some have used here have been made illegal, partly to protect folks like you from self inflicted harm… (and to protect the cash flow of professional baseball).

You will find a consistent theme of folks here getting upset about young guys wanting to do steroids. Some nasty language perhaps; but really to protect your interests.
